This small bit of prose was taken from my autobiography that has yet to find a gullible enough publisher to print it. I will be taking small segments of my life and transferring them to this wonderful blog I have set up. More importantly, I will be letting everyone know what's going on at the Playmakers Theatre in Grove, Oklahoma. After all, it is my job to promote this wonderful community theater, it's casts and crew, it's performances, and myself. In exchange for all of this shameless self promotion, they let me build a nest in the attic where I often try on all of the costumes.
A bit about myself so you know I'm not a complete loon (ha ha). I have been around a long time, actually a really really long time. I don't know what happened in the beginning, but I discovered I was kind of like a peli-vampire. I just can't die. I know it sounds far fetched, but it is completely true. Maybe I am a vampire and I don't know it because I don't have fangs. Can you imagine? A pelican with fangs? Anyway, I was there when the Greeks started their theaters. It was incredible to see the birth of stage plays. Since then, I have borne witness to some of the grandest triumphs in theatrical history. I have known some of the greatest writers, actors, artists, and musicians. I'm not telling you this to be boastful even though it's pretty sweet. I'm telling you this because I want you to know what it was like to be there for all of these amazing events. I want to use the experiences I have had to bring recognition to the Grove Playmakers. This fantastic little theater has been producing play after play, year after year. I want to let you know about it, dear reader. Join me in a Pucktacular journey into the titillating world of theater.
